A Plot Summary is a gadget used by Society Agents.

Description

A Plot Summary is a handheld, scanning device that is used to summarise the status of a fandom and any changes that may have been made, such as the insertation of Yaoi/Yuri pairings, M-Preg, or Darkfic plots. It can also be used to detect Sueish activity, and how strong the activity is, as well as locate original characters and self inserts (including the Society agents, which comes in handy in a big fandom), tell you the time, weather, give you a sat-nav like map of the fandom, and blow a loud raspberry at you when you're about to walk into a wall.

Due to the complex nature of summarising the status of a whole world, only one Plot Summary currently exists, and remains in Tash’s possession, though others are in production. The Society computers in the Library give a far more complex and detailed readout of a fandom’s status, and thus most Agents use these.
