ACMSES Wiki

The following details the formatting for particular pages on the wiki.

All page guidelines[]

• Whenever a name is written and the name has not been written before on that page, it should be linked, like this: ACMSES Wiki, thus leading to ACMSES Wiki.
• Whenever a name has already been written once on that page, do not link it.
• Whenever you drop a name that is supposed to have a page but doesn't actually have one, let it be a redlink by linking it as if it existed (Redlink, thus resulting in Redlink). Do not allow the link to remain blue by using the Redlink format (resulting in Redlink).
• Whenever linking a name that is not the full name that is the page title, do not rely on redirects. Always remember to link to the actual page and to pothole it with the name you want using the text being used. For example, "Tash", if linked, should always be potholed to Natasha Marquand. You would thus type Tash, thus leading to Tash.
• Whenever linking to Wikipedia, remember to use the easy-link: wikipedia:Page Name. Always remember to pothole the link as such: Page Name, otherwise the "wikipedia:" text will show up. If I wanted to link the page "Mary Sue" on Wikipedia, the link would be Mary Sue, thus leading to Mary Sue.
• Whenever linking to another wikia, use the easy-link: Pothole. So if I wanted to link to the page "Archer (Fate/stay night)" under the name "Archer" on the TYPE-MOON Wiki, I would type Archer, thus resulting in Archer.
• Whenever linking to an outside website, use the linking format: Pothole. So if I wanted to link FanFiction.net, I'd use FanFiction.net, thus resulting in FanFiction.net.
• Templates are your friends. If you don't know how to use a template copy-paste from a page that has one and fill in the blanks.
• Please use proper grammar/spelling; also, be detailed in your writing.

Agents[]

• The character template is used, listing the name, age, first fic, gender, and image.
• The character's name is listed in bold. If the character is from an alternate ethnicity or nationality, the alternate text rendering will be listed in (parentheses), along with the roman rendering in italics. Example: Mizuho, who has a Japanese nationality - Mizuho (ミズホ Mizuho)
• A section is headed off under "Description". A short overall description may be listed below.
• Subsections are headed off listing appearance, personality, history, and weapons and abilities. Please be neat and use bullet points when necessary.
• A section is headed off under "Trivia". The trivia must always be bullet-pointed.
• The categories "Characters" and "Agents" are used. More may be added if necessary.

Sues[]

• The character template is used, listing the name, age, first fic, gender, and image.
• The character's name is listed in bold. If the character has been to a non-English fandom, the alternate text rendering will be listed in (parentheses), along with the roman rendering in italics. This is to make the Sues look more "weeabooish". Example: Rena Lynvale, who visited the Final Fantasy XIII fandom - Rena Lynvale (レナ・リンベル Rena Rinberu)
• The Sue's level is listed.
• A section is headed off under "Description". A short overall description may be listed below.
• Subsections are headed off listing appearance, personality, history, and weapons and abilities. Please be neat and use bullet points when necessary. These sections may be omitted if the Sue is minor.
• The categories "Characters", "Sues", and the appropriate level category are used. Sues made prior to April 2010 use the 8-level system, while Sues made after use the 10-level system. More may be added if necessary.

• The category "Overview pages" or "Author pages" is used.
